Browns Canyon’s whitewater, wildlife, and wilderness are one of Colorado’s hidden treasures and today it is one step closer to permanent protection thanks to Senator Mark Udall.
Sen. Udall has been a leader in efforts to designate Browns Canyon a national monument and on December 3rd announced he will introduce a bill to protect this amazing place and ensure people will be able to continue to enjoy its natural amenities in perpetuity.
Please take a moment to thank Senator Udall for his leadership in protecting Browns Canyon!
Browns Canyon has one of the most popular stretches of whitewater in North America, home to a wealth of wildlife including black bear, bighorn sheep, elk, bobcat, deer and mountain lion. If Sen. Udall’s bill becomes law, this treasured landscape will be protected as a National Monument for countless generations to enjoy!
If you’ve been to Browns Canyon please share your experience with Sen. Udall in the message to the right. Even if you’ve never been there, you can still thank Sen. Udall for his leadership in protecting the wild rapids, fishing holes, and beautiful valleys of Browns Canyon.
If you take action and have not already registered, you will receive periodic updates and communications from The Wilderness Society.
Dear Senator Udall,
Sincerely, [Your Name] [Your Address] [City, State ZIP]
