Ask President Obama to protect New Mexico's wildlands today!

Local communities have asked President Obama to protect two of New Mexico’s most amazing and vulnerable wild places as national monuments. They need our help to get the job done.

We’re asking President Obama to protect the beautiful Rio Grande del Norte area in northern New Mexico and Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks near Las Cruces. Tell Obama that Americans want these precious wildlands protected for future generations.

-Rio Grande del Norte is a critical place for American history, people and wildlife. It includes the sacred Ute Mountain, outstanding big game habitat and exceptional outdoor recreation activities.

-Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks is a historical and recreation haven right outside of the growing city of Las Cruces. This scenic area in Doņa Ana County has long been a center of enjoyment, with opportunities for hiking, climbing, and sightseeing.
